Adult Baking Class – Chocolate Fudge Easter Cake – Thursday 17th April Morning

Join us at the Morton Baking Academy for this special Easter-themed adult baking class. Whether you’re a beginner or just want to enjoy a few hours of creative calm, this class is all about fun, flavour, and festive treats.

We’ll be baking a gorgeous chocolate fudge Easter cake (think soft sponge, dreamy frosting, and charming springtime decorations!) – and of course, you’ll take your masterpiece home to enjoy or share with loved ones.

Skills you will learn;

  • How to bake my best selling chocolate fudge cake
  • How to make fudgey chocolate buttercream
  • How to properly fill and cover a cake to a smooth finish
  • How to pipe rosettes and shells borders.

Led by the renowned, multi-award-winning Pastry Chef Lindsay Pemberton, these workshops promise not only fun but a hands-on learning experience in crafting delicious baked goods.

Includes all ingredients, equipment and your boxed up cake to take home.

  1. Do I need to have prior experience?
    No prior experience is necessary for the beginners classes, people attending a more advanced class may benefit from some prior experience. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
  2. Who will be teaching the baking classes?
    The classes are led by Lindsay Pemberton, a multi-award-winning Pastry Chef known for her expertise and friendly teaching style.
  3. What will I learn in the class?
    Each session covers different baking fundamentals, from baking to decorating. You will learn everything from a classic Victoria sandwich to elaborate French patisserie and beginners to advanced decorating skills
  4. How many people are in each class?
    To ensure each person receives personalised attention, each class is limited to 5 participants.
  5. How long does each class last?
    Classes are 2.5 – 3 hours long depending on the recipes. Your sessions are divided into manageable blocks with breaks as needed.
  6. What is the cost of the class?
    The cost is £65 per person. This fee includes all baking materials and ingredients.
  7. What should I bring to class?
    I will provide refreshments, you may want to bring a water bottle and a snack. Everything else is supplied for you.
  8. How can I register for a class?
    You can register for my baking classes by visiting my website and booking a spot through the provided link.
  9. What if a class is full?
    If your preferred class is full, you can join my waiting list. You will be notified you if a spot becomes available or when new classes are scheduled.
  10. Can I book a morning and afternoon class on the same day?
    Yes you can!  If you want to book both sessions on the same day, please bring a packed lunch, there will be a break between each class where I will be preparing and setting up for the afternoon class so you may want to bring a magazine or something else to fill your time between classes.
